HealthyU operates as a multi-site retail and distribution business in East Africa, running daily operations across SAP Business One HANA, iVend Retail POS, and a KRA-integrated tax workflow. Every store, every till, and every back-office workflow runs on the same connected stack, which is exactly why infrastructure reliability matters as the business continues to scale.
As part of the team's long-term modernisation plan, HealthyU set out to move off on-premises hardware and onto a platform that could carry the next decade of growth, with full data integrity, strong performance, and the flexibility to ship new features. Kitsilano Technologies designed and executed the migration to AWS.

HealthyU needed to move its full operational stack: SAP Business One HANA, iVend Retail POS, and KRA tax integration from aging on-premises infrastructure to AWS. There was no rollback option, and data integrity across 74 named users had to be preserved exactly.

The Approach
Production-grade AWS environment, fresh installs, dual-region backup
Kitsilano provisioned right-sized EC2 instances for every workload, then executed fresh SAP Business One and HANA installations with simultaneous version upgrades. A Site-to-Site VPN to HealthyU's Fortinet SD-WAN secured hybrid connectivity, with dual-region backup and alerting through CloudWatch and Datadog.
